I'm not sure who all is listed in the latest patents. GK has been listed on patents before but he dealt mostly with the super-benzopyran (SBP) technology. Since the last patents lodged had to do with the anti-tropomyosin (ATM) technology, I somewhat doubt he had much claim to those patents regardless of whether he left or not. Since GK is probably the most financially invested person in NRT (60 million convertible notes plus however many million shares/options he has), I think he would be the last person to try and undermine what NRT has going for it right now.
