IMO, looks like a few factors in play at the moment.
1) Those that are selling (e.g. Transocean & associates) are nearing an end with their holdings now nearly run – see the excellent breakdown of sellers by DS.
We should be thankful that their selling has been over many months and not in a short time frame which could have pushed the price down even more than it has been. They are still however hindering the price from running up because as soon as we have a little run on the buy sell they sell down again into the buy stack. This should finally now becoming to end although we are still likely to have some further dumps from them in the very short term until they are fully out.
2) There are buyers out there, some of them Hotcopper posters who continue to accumulate and in big numbers but I also suspect someone larger is out there as there have been a few runs on the sell stack where very quickly a million+ shares are taken out. This in turn turns over more volume as it catches the eye of traders, who ultimately will sell back into anyone accumulating. I think the pace of the accumulating has quicken just recently judging by the volume, these quick deadly runs on the sell stack and the pushes on the share price. I suspect that this quickening pace is due to either or both of the following:
a. Potential forthcoming news. For example 6 month accelerated stability testing must be all but done for one company.
b. The realisation of accumulators that the sellers are nearly out, and wanting to grab as many of their shares before they’re gone and the price is forced up as the selling dries up.
If it hadn’t been for the likes of Transocean selling I think the price would be 10 cents+, a current market cap of $47m for ADO against someone like POH with 3 times that I don’t think is quite right (please nothing against POH, which is another company like ADO with incredible potential and one I like as well) but with ADO you also have no multi-phase trials to fund or the time involved no complete them (again POH also has other development streams outside of trials and is fact pulling in some revenue too).
Once the sellers have gone from ADO you’ll see an improvement in the share-price and once those announcements come, you’ll suddenly find that the majority of holders are long term and any further sellers in very short supply and all manner of buyers wanting to buy in. The escalation in share price may be huge, just on the pure fact that the share price shouldn’t be where it is now.
