In that specific post, you posted/mentioned it as a result of your communication with Peter according to what you said and not an annonucement. So simply, I asked for clarity as there is a lot of water under the bridge since that announcement (now not so relevant), so it makes complete sense if you were speaking off old news as opposed to something Peter told you in that call.
