re: ready to move beef All Director share dealings are announced to the ASX - with SCD there have been numerous 'BUY's' by Directors over the past year (at least) and no 'SELL's'.

As far as the general state of the cyclical exploration activity sector there is much evidence that it is entering the start of an upswing. See some of the announcements from Imdex (IMD) for some detailed info on this (relevent announcements could be termed 'analysts presentations' from memory).
