Seems very desperate to scare small-holders, by giving the impression that 'someone ' is having a fire sale.
Then he can pick up more (50k-100K) at lower prices.
Why unload 50,000 at $4.80, when you can line them up at $5.10 - 5.05, at 5k or 10k.
