Well here goes - to our American friends: Vegemite is an Aussie icon and it's great. It is now owned by you guys (just like jak pointed out) even though it is banned in America (2006) because it contains folic acid.
1 It is organic and a by product of brewers yeast. Another by product of brewers yeast is pretty important to MEO posters.
2 It is high in B vitamins (apart from B12). Among other things the B comples is important for the nervous system - another important tool if you want to hold MEO shares.
3 Methanol is used in the extraction process (and could be a by product- especially after you eat it). Another reason for the Tassie Shoal Methanol project to come on line.
4 It is a black spread that looks like what they are scraping off our norhtern beaches from the Atlas rig. We all remember Atlas!
5 It is salty - like the water surrounding our godess Artemis, who we need to nurture.
6 It is a line in our famous song 'Land Down Under' by Men At Work. Still sung by men at work on the Australian rigs.
7 Aussie kids love it and it puts a smile on their faces 'Happy little Vegemites' Just like mums and dads when the MEO boat comes in:-))
