Consider this scenario (this is purely speculation and my opinion only):

The early results from the European Phase III show dramatic response. The published news leads to a world-wide clamour for the treatment to be fast-tracked so it is available to sufferers as soon as possible.

Clearly there are hoops that all treatments must jump through, but the FDA recognises that some treatments need to be brought to market much faster than the normal processes allow and has specific provision for such a treatment:

Early safety data already reported (see Primas announcement to the ASX 1/2/2011) would facillitate such a decision I would have thought.

Any guesses on a SP in this (hypothetical) scenario??

My guess is that the current SP in retrospect will make a bargain look like a ripoff!
