    Its a great idea, as long as your comfortable doing your own negotiations. The internet is the real estate agents best friend, and it can be yours.

    I plan to use Homesales.com.au they charge $199.

    And also Domain ( a powerful RE site that allows private sales around $250 for four weeks of hosting)
    RE.com.au accept private sales.....yet.

    I'll run ads in local and state newspapers with the aim to drive people to the website host.

    I'm willing to throw a couple of grand at it over 4 weeks.

    However its all for nothing, if its not price competitively. Not so easy with out a fair bit of research.

    I intend to discount my house by the agents commmission in an attempt to be the best value in my price range. Speed of the sale will be more important to me than trying to wring out the dolars. Good luck, I'd be interested to know how you go.
