Selling my EGO Shares

Now, I may have a couple of things wrong here which is why I am asking these questions.

Some of the discussion in the past week or so involved how to use the loss we are going to incur with our EGO shares to offset any gains in other shares.

One comment I read mentioned an “off register” sale because they can’t be traded normally now.

First of all:

Have I got that term correct?

If so, how is that transaction achieved?

How is it registered with the ASX?

Can I sell my EGO shares to my wife for one dollar and claim the loss?

I will be asking my accountant the same questiuons but all constructive comments and suggestions here are welcome.
