I will cut to the chase and tell you where this is going to head- "its the rate that a well is producing at after 5 weeks, not 5 days that is important-and what the rate is 12 months later". .... here are the facts,99% from CVN or from CVNs history. ...1. Good news for a sandstone well- "oil to surface" or "oil on the shakers". That means closer to 350bopd likely, rather than to 50 bopd (see P 15 of the Investor Presentation of last April)..... Not such good news for a SS well-"on pump". That means closer to 50 than 350.Comment re Volcanic wells- no need to mention "oil flowed to surface" as it always does from a volcanic (when did you ever see a CVN volcanic ann. that said a pump was needed).Bad news for a ss well- after a few days a huge fall-off in the flow rate. One of the early SS wells flowed at over 700bopd,but very quickly fell to sub-300 (that is why you see CVNs figure of 350 in 4/010 as tops for a SS well).Bad news for a SS or V well, but inevitable for some wells- a big fall-off after 12 monthgs e.g. the 3900 bopd well that was producing "only" 3300 12 (?) months later....
