Totally understand where you are coming from.
IMO we haven't heard any news because there is none to give.
That being said i think the communication by the company to shareholders is pretty bad. I would like something official thats updates the status of SJ anyway.

The SP drifting lower is probably a combination of no news and some bigger holders selling out to put their money elsewhere in the interim while waiting for something solid.
