Been through the same problem myself haha. I was wondering "why is everyone trading rights when I don't even have mine?"
According to what Commsec told me it's got something to do with the registry date or something 12th, 16th? something like that.
What you have to do is contact Apex's share registry to confirm how many you've got and rights you're entitled to then give your broker (etrade) a call. Commsec couldn't get mine to come up electronically but they'll raise the sell order over the phone for you and it appeared like any other order you'd place over the internet (at least in commsec it did). So now I can amend\cancel it at will.
So yeah, that's my suggestion, call the registry to confirm your entitlement then Etrade to get the order placed over the phone.
