Great post that mate.

Just spoke to a mate who bought a load at 2.7 last week, he is spewing. He is new to the game only been investing for about a year. Called me last week and said I've bought at 2.7 , I was like why. He said I can see it running and people saying its going a lot higher. I told him that of course people say it will go higher , they have usually exited on the way up.

I said have you set a stop loss, he said no he didn't know what one was. I ask myself would you be kicking yourself more if you lost 10k or had the chance to make 10k and miss out. I know which position I would rather be in. Over the years missing the train and going to the moon stocks have burnt me bad. I am a lot more cautious at this end of the pond now.

If anyone hasn't read the book rich dad poor dad go and do it, or listen on youtube as there is an audio book as well. Manage your risks is a huge part of being successful

I don't like seeing anyone lose money, but if you manage the risk you will lose minimal amounts and make a lot more on the upside.
