Two articles within the week! Neither article has been written off the back of announcements so it suggests that Dr Richard Hopkins has begun a phase of more aggressively selling the science. Lets go back to a comment by SoT from 25/10/2014;
"Hopkins told me at the time, not to expect the B--S-- that I'd been given before. To-date I see Hopkins as someone who wants to have the data in (and backing him up) before he sells his science."
Equally, I have found that the Hopkins style is quite measured. One could scarcely accuse him of spruiking the science. Within this context, his comments within the articles are interesting re: development of worlds best reagent to open up the intracellular space and unprecedented potencies against MYC.
Whether the statements are hyperbole or validated by both the data and independent third parties is something we will find out in the fullness of time (or even possibly the next few weeks).
