I just spoke to a mate who told me there is every chance the selling in many speculative stocks is because the money is being moved into super ....
.... The thing is that even if you are running your own superfund, you have to use "method" in your investments .... yep there are rules regarding how and where you can invest ... apparently.
... So ... if the super funds can't invest (easily) in speculative stocks, and self managed funds can't either ... that could explain why the likes of RIO are going of their rockers, and WMT, BLR, etc. are languishing ...
... Anyway ... I'm holding till after the new financial year starts, and hopefully I have got it right ... even if for the wrong reasons.
