    Agree Doughnut72. The drivers of this business are not hired guns or director seat warmers. They served a purpose, did a great job/delivered and rewarded handsomely but to take this business to the next level it requires experienced mining professionals.

    No need to get stressed about directors moving on - it happens all the time. Call it corporate evolution but the strategy to shape the business moving forward will derive from the chairman, with due input from the major shareholder and large institutions. Note too, that new leaders like building their own teams to ensure the culture aligns with their strategic direction for the business.

    For example, when Andrew McKenzie took over the top job @ BHP he shot a lot of very senior legacy managers - even supposed untouchables like Jimmy Wilson - who run the iron ore division and was a 30 yr veteran - were booted out.

    For VRC, I'm looking forward as the CoSec/finance functions have been outsourced and with the vacancies there is room in the budget to bring in some seasoned mining executives who can execute the next phase - ramp up fast.
