something else i remembered.
The first product with geotextiles is for leak detection in the installation phase not once the dam is full. It may well do this job but will only be proven over 5-10 years so at this stage they cant guarantee that it will detect leaks after filling of the dam.
The cost saving is in the laborious process of looking for leaks and signing off that none exist after installation. This is the thing ImagineIM can guarantee.
