re: share buy back - bad idea? I listed to the SafeNet 4th Quarter Earnings Conference call yesterday (available at www.safenet-inc.com). In the presentation the MD talks about the potential for the SONNET high speed encryption market. He says he expects SONNET to be a mjor growth driver for the company in calender 2005. As the SONNET product he is referring to is Senetas' encryption device, I'd say the forecast of $7M EBIT is pretty well done and dusted. Furthermore, one can extrapolate that FY06 for Senetas is going to be particularly strong....as other products are introduced into the SafeNet sales channel.
This stock is going up. Buy the weakness and you'll be very much rewarded over the next 6 months.
