My takeout is that SEN can pick up shares when the buyback commences and the low sellers can get taken out any time they look like trying to depress the share price.

SEN buying creates additional pressure for the shares and then the supply and demand metrics kick in and share price can increase on the basis of (reduced)supply side availability in the face of 'normal' buying.
Simply less shares means price has to rise for someone wanting to buy in.
This will probably be more attractive to instos who would like to see upward stability in the share price for their buy and hold clients rather than volatility through day traders.
Once the serious buy and hold investors and funds are in the supply of shares for sale also dries up and that puts further (upward) pressure on the share price.
