Reading through the findings section of the report they released, ASIC has basically stated the obvious concerning credit (they found APT and Z1P have been growing - that is seriously a finding), and come to the conclusion that because the industry is growing, it needs to be regulated by ASIC. 

They found nothing wrong with the industry or the industry participants, they just want more power, so they can sit there and continue to not do their job if something actually does happen. 

ASIC continues to be a disgrace.
