Good to see Simgrund and others still firing on all cylinders. Have just been discharged from a lengthy period in hospital(s) after complex eye surgery, so I had plenty of time to ruminate about the shocking treatment we have received from so many financial quarters over the years. Judging by the HC posts, any justified payouts destined for our pockets appear to be a long way off - if ever. Thankfully my health fund is solvent, so my private room costs were well covered (there's a lesson there). My one phone call from hospital to WC a month or so ago was very confusing and their spiel difficult to follow. HC, by providing PIFers this space, offers a source of invaluable information; long may it and the faithful regular contributors continue to assist us victims.
