WB yes, real estate is a good investment, but generally you can't sell off bits as you would like.
A personal mini "all ords" portfolio can be very rewarding if it fits someone's psyche. It is not for everyone.
However if someone would like to be involved with the sharemarket then investments could be made in some sleep at night stocks like AFI-ARG-WAM.
