@dan1; I've documented issues with QAN on this forum commencing fifteen years ago when we were left stranded in Sydney on the AFL's Grand Final day when they cancelled out flight to Melbourne - on that occasion their frontline staff were in tears because of the way customers were being treated.

One of Albanese's errors of judgement re the referendum was hitching a ride with QAN at a time when decades of its crap was hitting the fan - then there's the matter of how the media exposed how his son accesses the Elitists Lounge.

IMO the Coalition should have allowed QAN to go under during the Covid Pandemic - it's nothing like the 'Spirit of Australia' it became famous for.

Disclosure: After Alan Joyce became CEO we had far too many bad experiences with QAN and now fly on other airlines we trust and can rely on to deliver the services they advertise.
