The Daily Mail has secured court documents that it says show Senator Lucy Gichuhi was taken to court 7 times for failing to pay just on $10K in council rates and water bills.
Notwithstanding her $203,000 salary and working husband, she has yet to satisfy the judgements.
Judgement was entered against her on 10 April last year for $2,895 and again on 28 September last year for $1,818.
The Senator's Register of Interests shows her joint proprietorship in the properties and her liabilities to repay lenders:​
