Mike, the Pacific Solution with TPVs worked very well. See
the graph below which only takes us to early 2010 and up to
the end of June this year there have been a total
11564 arrivals since labor came to power now so that
hockey stick is almost THREE times longer. The PS+TPVs
certainly discouraged the many, preseumably welfare
rorters, while giving genuine refugees a safe place.
