Its more about getting people interested in gold for transactions. people are still oblivious to the potential issues of the fiat world. I have physical and gold shares as well SLR, RMS etc but it raises awareness to alternatives.
BTW I have less than 3 grand in the account so its only for small transactions. Its just fun but it could be useful in the future. No doubt other similar technologies will emerge in the very near future which i will be keen to look at.
Have a look at visual capitalist. I have just ordered their new book about the future. Lots of features about the future of money etc. Fascinating to say the least and something to keep up with. The world is moving so quick my head spins.
