Why are they raising funds through crowdfunding? The company boast the creators have "SendGold is a Sydney-based early-stage financial technology company that was founded in 2013 by experienced entrepreneurs, technologists and scientists from Microsoft, McKinsey, JP Morgan and M. H. Carnegie & Co." top pedigree connections so what is wrong using VC to raise seed funding?
Smells a bit fishy to me. The first thought to enter my mind is security of transaction and the medium holding that interim transfer. Bitcoin theft from wallet hacking are well known across many exchanges in all parts of the world so what makes their security any better?
