We are all aware the Senegal government have requested COP & FAR resolve their PE issues ASAP and that these discussions be kept low key.
Silence is not golden in this situation especially if it drags on for months and puts future JV plans on hold.
Why is there a problem with a simple brief update for example. -
Our initial discussions with COP are encouraging and progressing well, we remain optimistic that a resolution to can be agreed without the need to proceed to independent arbitration.
Silence is not golden in this situation, especially as it is dragging on and having an adverse effect on all concerned. IMO. Appreciate the need for silence but the market is entitled to an update IMO.
Senegal wants this sorted ASAP
