only 600k shorted yesterday - that would have been the push down to 7.9 that we saw. And the price is still holding. To push it down now short sellers will need to increase their short position to 3 - 4 % (it's never been over 2%), or rely on some bad news to be released. I think they have bet wrong this time and still see a strong upwards breakout to high 9's is on the cards
