OK,.. Lets be serious here,. The jv has a lot of cards stacked in it favour.

1.The senegal national oil company is a stake holder in this venture..
2. Hunt oil a well recognised leader is driving the show.

3. The area has had $17m worth of expenses on seismic carried out and they have identified a potential elephant find of oil.

4. 2 major oil and gas companies have put pen to paper and another is pending to farm-in and sink a well... they have rigs and money to let FAR be free carried, a great position for the company to be in.

5. The map and area off the coast of east africa is surounded by large oil fields already producing from all the major oil companys.

The extension from senegal should be announced soon. This appears to be the only reason that an announcement has not been made regarding firm details of a detailed plan to sink a well and prove that the sesmic has been worth all the money and time spent on it.
