Your fundamental approach is what attracted me with one huge exception...dividends.
If you want dividends buy dividend stocks. These guys can have all the money i give them because they carry so much more risk/reward , that the last thing i want is them giving money back to me at some low rate....
If i want a dividend JBH or the banks
These guys need all the capital they can get. And they will need it and use it to devleop resources and income.
As you say they are getting barrels of oil for $30 and selling them for $100 ++++ So why on earth would you want them giving you a dividend.... use the money to develop more wells that pay $100 for $30 costs... they have plenty of good targets, now they just need time and money to drill drill drill and they have to get producers online faster then current wells decline...do that and bobs your uncle...if they pay dividends it reduces the ability to do this.
