For the CB players, I own ICN, SXY, BPT since 1990s in 4 separate accounts. I disagree with others saying that dividends does not count much. It does, as one of my accounts is SMSF and it holds no other shares except BPT for the last 3 years. Lots and lots of BPT. The shares from DRP plus the refunded imputation credits from ATO every year keep my holding intact without having to sell one single BPT share. In fact I estimate that with this coming DRP on 28/4/14, I will increase about 1000 BPT shares in my SMSF after I take out my minimum pension for FY14. I do own heaps of bluechip shares like banks.
