Queensland has the clearest policy and highest environmental regulations for CSG. Look at the pickle the NSW Government have made on CSG legislation! To say one requires " more settled policy" is an interesting and I'll informed comment. The industry is working closely with the Government departments DERM and DEEDI to ensure this great industry has a future measured in decades not years. It is in all shareholders interest to support this industry and research what is actually going on in the CSG industry rather than read and listen to media sensational headlines. The greens are against any use of fossil fuels preferring solar, wind, tidal etc, all energy sources that will deliver zip additional energy. Shale gas extracted from the Cooper Basin is very attractive in terms of environmental challenges, no water and no costs to treat produced water. No community means no multi million dollar investment in social infrastructure such as we are seeing in Roma and Gladstone.
