"Promote gas instead of coal". Better: promote gas and coal. Best: let gas, coal, wind, solar and nuclear compete on a level playing field. Scrap all the subsidies. Scrap all the mandatory targets. Stop wasting public money. There's a market out there that wants to be supplied, and a whole heap of companies that want to supply. Government effort should go into ensuring that there is an orderly market, not into futile and expensive attempts to pick and pay winners. In an orderly open market, SXY will do well.
