Yaq, Remember Arrow/LNG deal, history to repeat, if Santos don't want to let that "World Class" fish swim by that is. But then maybe Santos just spent half a Bill of their shareholders money when things were tough just for the sake of a "Passive investment" and a quick buck, based on what future expectations to entice them to outlay half a Billion? They had all the options from Roma and the Cooper back then, why spend half a billion just to stay a passive investor, especially when they would have known the amount of funding required? Why didn't they buy into the other small CSG companies at the time? Why would they spend more money on BPT when they already have half a bill invested in ESG and own most of the tenements around Pel 238, the answer- it's elementary, Watson, (hint, it might have something to do with the size of the fish) ALH.
