Senior Business Analyst - Operations
We are looking for innovative and technically capable professionals to be part of this future. KML are currently seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join us on 5/2 4/3 FIFO roster. This influential role will:
- Provide commercial and business support to site operations. - Undertake scenario analysis. - Assist operational personnel in day to day decision making activities, adding commercial knowledge and analysis to decisions. - Maintain standard performance measurement tools for the site and actively promote and manage these into the day to day activities. - Participate in the planning and forecasting process and driving best practice financial evaluation throughout the operations. - Reconciliation of costs to forecasts and driving cost optimisation projects - Develop and business models for operational division. - Responsible for dynamical modelling of resources incorporating historical and forecast (pit to port), incorporating multiple products and process into forecast models (mining and processing) - Initiate continuous improvement program. - Report schedule and track operational readiness mile stone. - Development of business case including collating and presenting recommendations to senior management.
You will hold:
• Tertiary qualification in relevant field • Continuous improvement accreditation/training highly regarded (Six sigma) • Excellent modelling skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence business impact • Experience in the mining industry, ideally with site based experience.
