Sensera Achieves ISO9001 Certification

May 16, 2017, Chelmsford, MA: Sensera Ltd (Sensera) (ASX:SE1), a microsensor and microcomponent business focused on the design and production of specialized high performance components for the healthcare, industrial, military and aerospace markets is pleased to announce it has earned certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), effective April 20, 2017. This registration demonstrates Sensera’s leadership and strong commitment to the implementation of effective quality management systems.
Matthew Morgan Executive Chairman stated, “We believe in a systems-driven approach, and achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification provides our business partners with assurance in our processes, as well as confidence in our existing quality system. While we are proud to receive this accreditation, which acknowledges the standards applied to our fabrication facility and business practices, we look forward to promoting even greater confidence in our systems and processes as we work toward the ISO 13485:2016 accreditation for medical device manufacturing.”
Sensera was audited by NQA Global Assurance, third-party ISO 9001:2015 accreditation teams, and was shown to possess and employ company-wide controls and operating procedures for the purpose of maintaining micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and associated microfabrication products and services. The scope of the certification covers the design, development and manufacture of MEMS devices and includes both the company’s Woburn and Chelmsford, Massachusetts sites.
