Yes. If you're a MT holder it's all about newsflow and execution in the end and ST fluctuations aren't overly relevant.
The more risky game is played by those who miss out on IPO allocations and buy the gap-up in the first few days. I know A3D is the exception to the rule and a damn good one at that; but I think it's risky business buying the open with IPOs that stag heavily. More often there's an opportunity to buy lower after the dust settles and for the rare ones that never pull back, well, there's many fish in the sea.
