Speaking to my brother in Queensland, who is adamant about the borders staying closed until we are rid of the virus makes me envious! Reality is 51 patients in Australia in ICU, 43 in Victoria and 8 in NSW! https://covidlive.com.au/ Fortunately no one I know, but know many who could end up in ICU with their underlying conditions. States like QLD, SA etc have freedoms people in Melbourne could only dream about because their Premiers have maintained border closures. The old Australian adage of "I'm alright Jack", really rings true in this crisis. I can see border closures to remain until a proven vaccine is found!
