Well chicken farmers etc maybe saying stay put down there as it has an outbreak of bird flue also happening which does not need be transmitted around the country .
Is interesting just how much is acceptable to those around the country in what they face perhaps with rural diseases etc could have an effect on the states populace to what they understand with transmission of such even when it comes to humans ?
ie if they are more aware of whats happening in the fights already in rural areas they maybe more likely to accept quarantine situations as part of life in the fight against such transmissions .
