    Hi Dan I recalled reading this article but couldn’t find it yesterday. It’s a QLD mine (yes tungsten, but you’ll get the gist) they’ve had a really good success with ore sorting. From everything I’ve read though, effectiveness of ore sorting seems to come down to the composition of the dirt.

    On the enviro side of things, this was pretty good reading for me

    “From an environmental point of view, I think the TOMRA sorters will play a huge role in the future because of their capability of removing sulphides. If you remove sulphide before stockpiling waste rock, you will have the benefit of no acid creation and drainage – and it would reduce your footprint in your closure plans.”
