Can Wah Nam put in a bid with their Chairman also being BRM's? I would think there's a conflict of interest.

I don't think that Wah Nam is pushing down the price, the market is shot and has been since the start of the year. WNI's share price is dropping in HK, so they're not looking too flash either.

It's bad enough that the Euros and Yanks are likely to go into recession, but having the Chinese also slow down is going to have a greater impact on resource stocks. The markets bounced back pretty well after 2008 and maybe it will be the same this time around. Once the SP drops into the $1s, I expect a few buyers to come out, although there will need to be some clearer information on how close we really are to a rail deal.
