Feel for you, Jworll1. I've been in this game for a while and I still get the jitters. Sold a couple in fear yesterday, they're both up 5% today. Parrtly it's an impulse, I reckon, to "tidy up" the portfolio. Red doesn't suit my complexion...! My problem, though, is placing too little on shares I have belief in. They go up, sure, but my profit is rarely more than $1000. Nothing to sneeze at over the years, however. I've been doing well with EXR oil and gas (Mongolia). Started at .045. Made a quick grand. Then back in again (bear in mind this stock has been steadily rising every day - almost - for a month and is getting good reviews) So what did I do? Doubled uo. A measly 30,000 shares. Zooming along still. But what prevents me from placing $20,000? I'm not quite sure, aside from the obvious that it remains heavily speculative. As the experts say, human psychology is no match for the mind-messing way of the stock market. Good luck.
