To me the NAB announcement was very basic and non-committal. Not saying thats a bad thing, our management team is this companies main asset and any "foot in the door" is an opportunity to be relished. I doubt we'll be talking many months with this before we get either a "not at this stage" or a "we agree to move to a full trial".
Running a range of mock SOA's for a total of $800 sounds more like they're going to show what it does and get some real and direct cost comparisons while gathering compelling evidence to show the powers that be that it should be at least trialled. Remember NAB have had some major upheaval in this area lately and as was seen by the stink when the announcement was made, people see this as taking away work and therefore jobs, so for a big corporate like NAB it needs to be treated with a certain level of diplomacy.
