    Agreed - the example I gave of house going from 400 to 600k shows a profit on paper of 400k. You could say 200% growth. Where on earth can you get that kind of appreciation with such ease.

    But really the beauty of that exercise was I only put down 11k of my own - so the growth was a staggering 5400% growth - they just have no idea. That story repeated itself over an over the country and we have to worry about miniscule drops - give me a break!

    Yes if you weren't in it then, and we were being warned by the experts, you lost out. If some folk have to sell at a loss of even 25% the returns on actual outlayed funds are still huge. They just have no idea! Most investors still have a ton of Equity mate!
