Optus and the other telcos want the low hanging fruit.
The recent FTTN tender proved that they do not have the nous (even with the GROUP of 9 recommended by the ACCC)t plan and build the FTTP.
The latest news is that SIngtel wants to withdraw from Australia and leave optus to its own devices.
