hi implant,
Permian production is characterised by steep decline rates so the 1st Linthicum well's production was always going to drop from a 24hr IP rate. It's still cleaning up so stabilised flow is yet to be determined but was always expecting it to drop to around 200boepd. Mind you it will probably produce for the next 15 - 20 years.
So it's all about drilling enough wells to get in front of the capex curve and Molopo are well on their way to drilling a good number of wells. I'm stating the obvious but how long it's going to take to get in front of that curve will depend on the flow rates. I'm impatient for results/numbers but no doubt it takes longer to establish than I/we'd all like.
cheers.
