The report was promised for last year. I'm not sure why October the following year is the due date for getting pissy - it's not the first time you've been given an expected date push back. After eight months of waiting I'd already be pissy if I wasn't happy to stop worrying. I'd have sold out quite some time ago, or I'd just have accepted that it's something to stop worrying about because obviously it's a promise they're just not sticking to. That does happen, sometimes even in good companies with good people running them.

Many times from late last year you've said things along the lines of 'just a few more days/weeks and I'm going to get pissy', but then after each deadline you are content to make more excuses for them or accept their own excuses they give you privately.
