I think I am wrong, it must be drilling fluid as there would be able to tell, as driling fluid is filtered, conditioned and recycled down the hole. Losses of 50,000 bbl water mean there is some "permeability". Or it could be one or more natural fractures.
But if there is some permeability - could be a good producer.
