It's a little tricky comparing USPOG with AUSPOG as in US POG terms, we are well below the highs of 2011. If our dollar was worth higher in US$ terms then, of course AUSPOG would be much less than where it is now. I tend to give more weight to USPOG as an indicator as to the health of gold & miners & we still have a ways to go to get to the all-time high again.
But sure, having it near 1600AUS is certainly good for us & for OS investors to take note of our gold market.
Let's face it. ABU should tell us what we're in for by years end.
